- He told me about the statistics of men who maim their wives [it is ridiculous how many women perish in the hands of their husbands].
- And wonders why Kenyans choose to focus on the FEW women who maim their husbands.
- The mentality kinda explains our fascination with HORRIBLE and borderline evil politicians.
- I am amazed [and not in a good way] by those who are listening and believing Uhuru Kenyatta’s campaign speeches. Especially the youth.
- What I lack in fashion sense, I make up for in unlimited sarcasm.

Olympics is still my all time favourite event….love the sprints, the long distance runners, the high jump, long jump, triple jump all jumps
Find it soooooooo exciting. Can’t wait.

Oh yes. I will be following the Olympics. I am looking forward to the 4×4 relay, 100 metres (both men and women) actually most track and field events. Will also be following Swimming, Synchronized Swimming, Gymnastics especially the one where they perform stunts with ribbons, balls etc (Gymnastics Artistic), weightlifting and Triathlon and know I will be telling hubby like I always do – I wish I could run that fast or I wish I was that fit or swim like a pro. sigh!!!

Hell yes I will be watching the Olympics and try to avoid betting with hubby on the track and field events…I always lose!
Meanwhile,who are our Usain Bolts?I used to know kina Kipchoge Keino,Tegla Lorupe,Catherine Ndereba,Wangila Napunyi,…..and now??
