- What a slow week! I have to say it has been fun getting to work in less than ten minutes!
- Thanks to everyone who responded to my post on Wednesday on Rules for Marriage. That was an interesting conversation in the comments.
- I actually stayed a couple of days without logging onto twitter or FB (still not back on twitter). It can be done people!
- I started reading George Carlin’s “Brain Droppings” and on one of the first pages he says: The decay and disintegration of this culture is astonishingly amusing if you are emotionally detached from it. I have always viewed it from a safe distance knowing I don’t belong; it doesn’t include me, and it never has. No matter how you care to define it, I do not identify with the local group planet, race, state, ……………….. I love and treasure individuals as I meet them, I loathe and despise the groups they identify with and belong to.
- That ladies and gentlemen, got me nodding my head! He put a smile on my face later in the paragraph when he assured readers that he had a loving family.
- It amuses me to no end this insane feeling of “belonging” that people seem to derive from being in a certain “click“, being identified as being like someone else or feeling that you need to be “accepted” by others.
- We have lost a bit of ourselves wanting to accepted by others and wanting to be like someone else.
- I could begin telling you about the discussions with have with babes about the state of organised religion right now but that is a post for another day.
- If you have read my 101 in 1001, one of the things I want to do is find a home church. I have a post sitting in my draft on this. I may just post it!
- Do you still have the voting proof ink on your pinky finger? I do! I want to know which chemicals that pen has for this ink to still be on my finger! They should use it for nail polish!
Have a lovely weekend everyone. Keep the peace.

LOL! That is brilliant! I put nail polish just so that they wouldn’t mark my little finger. I am not sure that was a good idea seeing as the nail polish is already chipping yet that ink hasn’t even started fading!

Thanks for the tip to clean out the pinky! Something to do tonight…..
I have also enjoyed getting to work in 5 minutes. I got to town from my office in 7 minutes, a journey that normally takes an hour. How exciting was that!
I would like to read about your search for a home church. How is that going?

Not going! We have made no effort though.

Interesting! I was listening to Joyce Meyer last night and she was also talking about how much of ourselves we lose when we desire so much to be liked and accepted mpaka we change who God made us to be!
That voting ink makes us all look like we have henna on our pinkies…..I’m also looking for that pen,it’s fantastic!
On another note? Any idea where Wa Makeri went??
Meanwhile,Happy International Women’s Day to you all ladies…I celebrate women like you who make other women feel great with the little things they say and do

So I finally joined twitter…today.
I didn’t get “inked” on my pinkie, asked the guy to do it in between my fingers. The mark disappeared like a day later.
