There is a rule I live by in my marriage: I never say or do anything to my husband that I wouldn’t want him to say or do to me.
BACKSTORY: My workmate was asking whether I go through my husband’s phone and it started a very interesting conversation on trust and women and men and…. you know how this goes.
I sometimes feel that people do and say things in marriage because they have seen someone else say it or because they read about it. Because why would you “expect” your partner to act a certain, specific way? We are all different.
So where does my rule come into in this post?
It may sound simple and it really isn’t but I think we need to be nice to our partners.
Nice (Adjective): kind, polite, and friendly
Think about it.
And have a great Wednesday.
